I recently got a hold of my first pair of wake-skis from Stereo Skis. This is my first day out on them. I have been wakeboarding and wakeskating a ton this summer, but this is going to be just as fun. Trying to figure out how this is going to work. Strapping in. Fierce. Trying some wake-skate tricks on the skis. First time going switch on two water-skis. Small air and a grab. This is going to be good. Break time. My sister even got after it. ...

Recently a friend of mine CR Johnson died while skiing at his home mountain in Squaw Valley, CA. Even though CR went through his previous injury no one could of predicted we would lose him so soon. Early in my skiing career I was fortunate to hang out and travel with CR, Tanner, Mickael and the rest of the crew. I always looked up to these guys because they were skiing and going to the places I wanted to go. You could not find better skiers to be around and be inspired by. I connected with these guys because we all loved to ski. And we all came up in an era when skiing was not exactly cool and we wanted to let more people understand how much fun it is. Losing CR is very hard for me because I see so much of my skiing in his. Skiing the mountain in a new way, having fun by throwing tricks on your way down. Loving the feeling of powder and sunny park days. These are moments not just anyone can experience. That is why skiing is so special and CR knew that. Forever life will be different now and there is no way to go back. I pray for CRs family, friends and everyone he touched during his lifetime. This is not going to be an easy recovery and we all know he was taken from us way too soon. He wanted so much to give back even more. It is important we remember him and talk about all the great things he did, he was an amazing friend and a true inspiration.
