Chanelle Sladics and I were just at Loon Mountain, NH coaching at Oakley’s Progression Sessions. The event was two days skiing and snowboarding with local women skiers and snowboarders. We had so much fun and can’t believe how many people we met. This photo pretty much sums up our excitement. Next stop will be Canyons in Utah. Sign up now before it is too late! Spots filling up quick.

Here’s the info:

OAKLEY PROGRESSION SESSIONS
03/12/2011
March 12-13, 2011
Looking to step up your skills on the hill? Want to get personalized coaching from Oakley’s top professional athletes? Oakley Progression Sessions is a two-day on-snow camp for the intermediate rider who is looking to advance her “freestyle” skills to the next level, and have fun while doing it!

For women by women, Oakley Progression Sessions is staffed by professional coaches, and it takes place in an on-snow environment where you don’t have to be intimidated by big jumps, aggressive rails, huge pipes or overwhelming crowds. With the private, custom terrain park built just for attendees, you’ll be able to build your skills at your own pace and comfort level with help and encouragement from the Oakley team.
And that’s just on the hill. Off the hill, we’ll have stretching/yoga sessions each morning to get you warmed up and ready to ride.

For the best performance, you’ll get your own custom Oakley Elevate goggle, and you get to design it! Lunch and après are included each day, along with the opportunity to make new friends with girls that have the same love of winter sports as you do. You’ll also get an AMAZING goodie bag, and we’ll be giving out product prizes and much more!

So COME SHRED WITH US! Oakley Progression Sessions is open to women ages 15 and up, and it’s coming to a mountain near you. Space is limited, so don’t hesitate… grab a girlfriend and sign up now!

Ski’n
Posted by Grete on categories: Lifestyle, skiing, snowboarding

So today I went up to Park City with the intention of hitting the new jumps on Pick’N'Shovel, but……. SURPRISE!!! It was a Pow Day! Here is a shot of me on the chair just soaking it all up!

I got this photo from Sarah and Afghan Dan later on in the day. They were doing the same thing, but in Breckenridge. I do not know if you remember this, but years ago when Danny and I were on a Goodwill trip to Afghanistan he saved my life. So forever to me, he is known as Afghan Dan.
