I helped Oakley design this jacket called Lines. It is part of Oakley’s Pro Rider Series. Which means Oakley designed this jacket from inspiration by me. When working with Oakley, I told them I wanted a light-weight jacket that breathes during long hikes and keeps me warm in the storm on the chair-lift.
I was lucky enough to wear this jacket a few times last season to test it out. My Oakley teammates were jealous because they all really liked this jacket. It fits my mountaineer/freestyle/skier style perfectly. It also has a slim fit so you do not feel like you are wearing a boxy jacket, instead it is fit to your body.
I wanted the zipper to go across diagonally because I do not like a zipper on my chin when I am wearing it. With this design your chin will not get hit or rubbed by the zipper. Also, the fake-fur is detachable if you wish to take it off on wetter days.
