Recently, I got the opportunity to head to Baldface Lodge on “vacation” with a group of friends. I have not been on a ski vacation since I was ten years old. Baldface Lodge is a 15 minute helicopter ride from Nelson, Canada. My first time skiing at the Lodge was four years ago with TGR and the conditions were all time. So I was never expecting the conditions to be just as great this trip, but they were. I only packed my Volkl Powder Skis (Volkl One and Volkl Two) and GoPro in anticipation of getting a lot of face-shots. The trip was unforgettable. Please, enjoy the photos and I hope everyone can experience a powder weekend like this someday.
Until next time,
It’s a beautiful day in Utah.
My first run at Brighton Resort was like this all the way down.
Photo from above with my GoPro.
Cruising through the trees.
Soaking it all in.
Josh and I.
Working on beacon skills.
Digging pits in the backcountry on slopes we are about to ski.
On top of the run.
