Recently, I was in Mammoth Mountain, California with the US Freeskiing Slopestyle Team. However, our team was a little small on this trip. It as just Alex Schlopy, Bobby Brown and myself on the trip. We had awesome weather and perfect park laps. Mammoth is so awesome because it’s kind of hard to get to so it’s not very crowded during the week.

After the IOC added ski slopestyle’s  in the Olympics, the US Ski Team announced their US Team. I was lucky enough to be on it. I am going to be competing for the U.S. from now on and I am very excited. I have been living in Salt Lake City, UT for the last six years of my career and working on my degree at the University of Utah. So it was a great fit for me. Even though I am not really a rookie to the sport, the US Team asked the entire ski slopestyle pro team to join their Rookie Camp. And this is what we have been up to.

Check out this article regarding the selection of the U.S. Slopestyle Ski Team. I am really excited to be on the U.S. Team. I have been living in Utah for over six years and now I finally get to take advantage of the U.S. facilities and coaching. This is going to be a fun next couple of years. I could not be more thrilled.

I am in Toronto, Canada right now for a training camp with Red Bull. A lot of the week has been going to the gym twice a day and back to the hotel. However, on our off day Red Bull took us out on a sailboat to check out Lake Ontario.
